For the second straight season, Hamzah was named a first-team All-America selection after helping the Buckeyes capture the 2018 Mid-Atlantic West division crown.

Hamzah anchored an offensive line that paved the way to one of the highest scoring offenses in the Mid-Atlantic West division while also keeping Ohio State’s quarterbacks clean. The honor is Hamzah’s third All-American nod overall, as he was named a second-team All-American in 2016.

Chase, who was also voted a team captain by his peers, had his best game against Miami (OH), registering 11 tackles and two sacks in a 36-21 win over the Redhawks for which he was named NCFA Player of the Week.
