NCFA Releases 2019 Conference Schedules

For the first time in team history, the Ohio State Club Football team will begin a title defense.

Fresh off their 2018 Mid-Atlantic West division championship, the Buckeyes will host two of their three divisional conference games in 2019.

Ohio State will open division play October 19th OR 20th with a road trip to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers, who are coming off of a 1-5 regular season and an 0-3 finish in conference play. As the home team, Pittsburgh will announce if the game will be played on Saturday or Sunday at a later date.

In their 2018 matchup, the Buckeyes jumped out to a 42-0 advantage at halftime, before coasting to a 42-7 victory behind five total touchdowns by quarterback Kellyn Gerenstein. Ohio State is 3-0 all-time against the Panthers, defeating Pittsburgh twice in 2017 by a combined score of 61-22.

Following their battle with Pittsburgh, the Buckeyes are set to return home to host Wright State on October 27.

Ohio State won the 2018 matchup against the Raiders, a 34-0 shutout win in Dayton, Ohio. The Raiders finished last season with a 2-4 overall record and were 1-2 in the Mid-Atlantic West. The Buckeyes are 8-3 all-time against Wright State and have won the last five games against the Raiders.

Finally, Ohio State will conclude its regular season against Miami (OH) for the third straight year, with the 2019 matchup set for November 2 in Columbus. The Buckeyes snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Redhawks in 2018, defeating Miami (OH) 36-21 in Oxford, Ohio to clinch the Mid-Atlantic West division championship.

All game times are TBD. Non-conference opponents will be announced at a later date. All scheduled NCFA games can be found here.
