Ohio State’s 2021 regular season schedule is officially set.
The Buckeyes are tentatively set to take on the Gordon State Highlanders on Sept. 19 at home, in what will be the first ever matchup between the two schools.
The Highlanders, located in Burnsville, GA, will be entering their first full season of collegiate football in the Fall of 2021. The team, which was set to set to play their first games in Fall 2020, had to put their inaugural season on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but was able to play a handful of exhibition games in the spring.
Gordon State finished the Spring 2021 season with a 2-3 record, finishing the campaign with back-to-back wins over Middle Georgia State and Hocking (Ohio) College respectively. The Highlanders will compete in the South Atlantic Conference of the NCFA along with Middle Georgia State, Columbus (GA) State and UNC-Greensboro.
