Ohio State Club Football welcomes Zac Saleski, Conlan Mayberry to coaching staff, promotes Brendan McNeill

The coaching staff for the 2024 campaign has been finalized, bringing new additions and promotions for the 15th year of Ohio State Club Football.

First, the Buckeyes welcome assistant coach Zachery Saleski, who most recently served as the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator of the Silesia Rebels of the Polish Football League in 2020-21. Saleski brings more than a decade of football experience, including three years overseas coaching in both Poland and Germany. Saleski is no stranger to the National Club Football Association, having played two seasons as a member of the Miami (OH) Club Football program, where he helped the Redhawks win back-to-back Great Lakes Conference titles in 2011-12 and an appearance in the 2012 NCFA National Championship game. He then joined the Miami coaching staff and helped the Redhawks return to the NCFA national title game in 2015 as an assistant.

Next, Ohio State welcomes student assistant Conlan Mayberry to the staff. He will work primarily with the wide receivers and defensive backs. Mayberry was a two-year letterman as a wide receiver and defensive back at Strongsville (OH) High School and graduated with honors in 2023.

In addition to the newcomers to the staff, defensive line coach Brendan McNeill has been named Ohio State Club Football’s new Recruiting Coordinator. McNeill will continue in his role as defensive line coach while also working on building his first recruiting class. McNeill completed his first season as an assistant in 2023, where Ohio State saw its sack numbers jump from 16 in 2022 to 30 in 2023.
