Ohio State Club Football will take on a pair of familiar foes in 2025 as part of its regular season schedule.
The Buckeyes recently agreed to road contests against Denison and Ohio Wesleyan’s JV programs, renewing a pair of exciting rivalries.
Ohio State will travel to Denison for a Week 3 matchup on Sunday, Oct. 5 with kickoff set for 3 p.m. The Buckeyes last met the Big Red in 2023, coming away with a 30-3 victory. Ohio State owns a 3-2 all-time advantage against Denison, with wins coming in 2013, 2022-23 and losses in 2012 and 2021.
Eight days later, Ohio State will play on a Monday night for the second straight season against the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan. Last year marked the first matchup between the two programs, a 17-14 win for the Buckeyes. Ohio State led 17-0 early in the fourth quarter before thwarting a late comeback effort by the Bishops. Kickoff against OWU is set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 13.
The Buckeyes are 6-5 all-time against NCAA JV opponents and have played at least two NCAA JV opponent every year since 2021. Ohio State has played three NCAA JV games each of its last two seasons, compiling a 5-2 record in those contests.
Ohio State now has two open weeks remaining in its schedule. Opponents, dates and kickoff times for Week 1 and Week 8 are still to be determined and will be announced at a later date.
