George Mason, Cincinnati United to bookend 2025 regular season schedule

The 2025 Ohio State Club Football regular season schedule is complete.

The Buckeyes have agreed to contests with George Mason and Cincinnati United to round out their 2025 regular season campaign.

Ohio State is set to open the 2025 season on the road at George Mason on Sept. 20. The Buckeyes and Patriots have met seven times in series history, with the scarlet and gray winning all seven. The last two meetings came in the NCFA playoffs, with Ohio State defeating GMU 63-6 in the 2022 NCFA Semifinals and 42-27 in the 2021 NCFA National Championship Game. The two teams also met in the 2021 regular season, a 29-28 thriller, won by the Buckeyes in Columbus. Kickoff for the 2025 matchup is set for 1 p.m. in Fairfax, VA at RAC Field.

Both Ohio State and George Mason closed their respective seasons against Coppin State and Clayton State in 2024. George Mason lost its regular season contest against Coppin State, 30-16, before getting revenge in their conference title game, a 20-12 win. That victory gave the Patriots an automatic bid into the NCFA Playoffs, where they lost 63-20 to Clayton State. The Buckeyes then defeated Clayton State two weeks later in the NCFA National Championship Game, 20-13.

To close the 2025 regular season, the Buckeyes are scheduled to host college prep program Cincinnati United for the second straight season. Ohio State opened the 2024 campaign against the Bulls and needed a second-half comeback and goal-line stand to come away with a 21-20 victory. Cincinnati United, which played its inaugural season last year defeated Toledo Club Football 22-17 for its biggest win of the 2024 season. The Bulls also took on Wright State last year, losing 19-6. The game is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 9 with a kick time to be announced.
