Position: Wide Receivers / Defensive Backs
Alma Mater: The Ohio State University
Bio: Geoff Green joined the coaching staff in 2021 after one of the most productive seasons in program history as a wide receiver.
In 2019, Green was named a first-team All-American after leading the NCFA in receptions (36), receiving yards (713) and receiving touchdowns (8). After a year away due to COVID-19, Green was set to be a captain for the 2021 Buckeyes before he accepted a contract offer to play professionally for the Frankfurt Pirates of the German Football League 2. With the Pirates, Green not only lined up at wide receiver, but also played some safety and quarterback in addition to returning punts and kicks.
After a successful run in Germany, Green returned to Columbus in October to finish out the season as an assistant coach with the Buckeyes. He helped coach a receiving corp that set a program record for receiving yards in a single season and assisted with a defensive backfield that broke the program record for interceptions in a single season.
